Quote or Key Phrase

Even the best writers use editors to review their work—because they want their writing to be as clear and effective as possible. Your knowledge may be extensive and your ideas creative and wonderful but, if the quality of your writing is not up to par, it won’t matter. I can help you achieve excellent, error-free writing and create a polished document to impress a professor, committee, granting body, or journal editor.

As a teacher, I am dedicated to helping others learn.

As an editor, I am knowledgeable and up-to-date; I can help you polish your writing and improve your craft overall.

As a person, I am supportive, encouraging, and understanding.

Personal Biography

My decades of experience as a teacher and university professor mean that I have decades of experience with writing of different kinds and styles, and from many sides—reading it, writing it, supervising it, grading it, and reviewing it. I have written and edited essays, position papers, theses and dissertations, grant applications, articles for refereed journals and conferences, chapters in books, and biographical and autobiographical pieces.

Academic articles, essays, professional reports and memoranda,  and theses and dissertations are my specialty. I am comfortable with texts in both the natural and the social sciences, and with both quantitative and qualitative research designs.
