I have a Bachelor’s of Science General degree from the University of Alberta and a certificate in editing from Simon Fraser University, achieving honours with distinction in both. Currently, I am obtaining the Plain Language Certificate and Technical Communication Certificate online at Simon Fraser University.
I have worked as an editorial assistant and a marketing assistant for McGill-Queen’s University Press for several years. Now that I am living on Vancouver Island, I copy edit articles for the Island’s Take 5 magazine and the West Coast Editor. I am a member of the Editors’ Association of Canada and the Professional Editors Association of Vancouver Island.
