My patience and high standards form the core of my editing services. I particularly enjoy helping writers validate their ideas and their research; clear writing is the key. I’m also a very sharp and meticulous proofreader. Since 2002 I’ve been a freelance editor and proofreader for the University of Washington Press. I taught academic writing for two years during PhD studies as a foreign student at the University of Washington, and completed an editing certificate program there.

I edit in many subject areas, but my preference is for art and architectural history and mystery fiction.
